We respect the land that gives life to our wines. We care about leaving a positive footprint in our environment and we see our team as true entrepreneurs, fundamental in the mission we have set ourselves
We cannot fulfill our mission and achieve our vision without a strong commitment to sustainable values, including caring for and protecting the environment, respecting and supporting our collaborators, and being a good neighbor in the communities in which we operate.
Our Actions in The Vineyards
We exclusively use authorized products that are proven to be environmentally friendly
Our weed management plan incudes the tilling and harrowing.
We use more than 930,000 kg of organic waste to fertilize our vineyards each year.
We maintain the strip of land between our vineyard and the Tinguiririca River as a wildlife corridor and take great care to protect the local flora and fauna.
Our actions in the winery
Our winery and bottling room is designed to take maximum advantage of natural light and uses recycled materials for insulation.
The fence around our winery was made with 20,000 kg of scrap metal, the equivalent of 24 cars.
We save energy by using low-consumption bulbs and lighting.
actions with our collaborators and our communities
Our training program is tailored to the individual needs identified for each employee.
We conduct training on the identification of pests, weeds, and diseases for our vineyard staff.
All of our facilities are envisioned and designed with the safety of our collaborators in mind.
The main phytosanitary products we use are sustainable classed and the dispensers have the required seal from SAG (Chile’s agricultural and livestock service) as well as the personal protective equipment required by current legal provisions.
We have written plans and procedures and regularly hold staff training sessions with supporting documentation on correct work procedures, workplace safety, including Right to Know forms.
We support the Peralillo Firefighters Brigade.
We have supported the Gustavo Rivera Bustos school in Peralillo through the donation of a microscope and a stage for school activities. We have also supported educational talks and field trips to the winery.
We have supported the activities of Corporación Mater, dedicated to the prevention and treatment of kidney disease in vulnerable children.
